Horse Practice-Ride Lease Agreement

April

April

Lease Only

April is a rescue we took in last year.  We put 500lbs on her, rehabbed from a jugular injury, taught her to lead and go under saddle.  She is a super star and we are lucky to have her.  She is very quiet and sensible, despite everything being new to her.  Currently only walk trot.  Looking for more of a sponsorship for her.  We are reluctant to re home, due to her age.  Someone older or kid just learning, who may just want to come give her some love and go for a short, easy, quiet ride, would be her ideal match.

Moon

Moon

Lease Only

Moon is a 16yo Nokota Mare. Perfect height at 15 hands.  She is not only pretty but very sweet and quiet.  Goes English and Western. Great horse as a first lease to practice your riding skills.

Red

Red

Lease Only

13yo, 15.3 hand appendix gelding, although beginner safe, really needs an intermediate rider to get the most out of him.  Very athletic, but needs to be asked. Loves to trail ride, but also enjoys jumping, dressage, and western patterns.  Extremely well trained.  Prefers his own person, to our lesson program.  Lease only.

Ranger

Ranger

Lease Only

Ranger- 9yo, 14.2h Tennessee Walker.  Ranger recently joined our program, and we are excited to have a gaited horse be part of our team.  He is super friendly and tons of fun in and out of the ring.  Easy to get gait, super smooth running walk and canter. Perfect for novice teen or small adult to enjoy and learn more about gaited horses.

Samantha

Samantha

Warmblood mare Lease - Sale - $1500 or BO

Samantha is for sale or full lease (on farm).  She is a 17yo, 16.3h Warmblood.  Does best with an intermediate rider, as she is well trained off of seat aides and athletic.  Has been out of work and getting back in, slowly.  She battled with ulcers this spring and has been treated, diet adjusted and weight back on.   Her past job was eventing.  I originally bought her as a lesson horse prospect, 2 years ago.  But she is too athletic for our program consisting of beg-adv. beg, so instead she has been leased, until recently.  She is currently servicably sound enough for flatwork.  Her arthritis is best managed with equioxx and regular work.  Excellent on trails alone or with group.  UTD on everything, including new front shoes. Can live in or out.  Currently living out 24/7 with 3 sided shed and 2 other horses, is submissive, bottom of pecking order.  Absolutely bombproof, sweet mare, with excellent work ethic.  Too nice to be sitting.  $1500 sale, or lease for current board at lovely facility with indoor ($500/mth) and shoes.

Mishanock

Mishanock

For Sale - Arabian - $750

Up for adoption.  Little Mac came back to us, through no fault of his own. His adoption fee has been lowered ($750), since he has been "out of work". With full lesson and training schedule, we just don't have the time to get him going again. Have had people on him, not regularly, and he has been great.  But arabs need to bond to be at their best.  Very easy keeper. A good, forever home a must. He is a wonderful little gelding and really wants his own person.  Would make a great little show prospect or even a lovable pet.  He is healthy, sound, and UTD on everything.
Below is his ad and pics from last year:

Mishanock aka "Little Mac" is a rescue and project horse. He is 17yo and 15h.  We got him (and 5 others) over the winter, in poor, malnourished condition, from a super sad situation. We are not a rescue, but just a bunch of horse owners with big hearts, that felt the need to help these horses. Currently Little Mac is a good weight, up to date on everything, and absolutely stunning. Mac came to us a stallion and has since been gelded. He is now able to be turned out with other horses, and loves to cuddle and play with them. He is an incredible mover and very fast learner. He is a total cuddle bug and loves being groomed or just hanging out. He is Egyptian bred, so he is the typical level headed, eager to please horse, which is so classic to those lines. He is registered but we do not have his papers. Mac has been started under saddle, but really needs an intermediate + rider, to teach him the ropes, but think anyone could ride him once he has more miles.  Sound and healthy.  He would excel in show ring, as he is very flashy. Or even make an excellent backyard pet.  Easy to handle and teach new things. Would make an excellent partner for someone looking for their next horse.  Asking a small rehoming fee to good home only. Will go with contract.
